Who is Alan Watts ?
Alan Watts is a British Philosopher who moved to the United States of America, and subsequently found his place in the American spotlight. He has spoken many a lecture and has captivated millions in Youtube videos, especially videos with Chillstep music and has also become popular with his lectures being presented as they originally were recorded. Alan has brought much excitement to many and is very popular across youth and adults alike who wish to find their purpose in life. Alan has written many books and other works amassing together to create the list below (see bottom).
Now maybe you asked the question why moneytyrants would feature a blog post on a philosopher? It is simply because much of money making starts with a vision or a dream necessitating personal growth and here is your connect. Alan Watts will hopefully help to inspire and spur you along - while teaching much about the nature of life and reality itself his lectures help one to orient their own personal goals.
I've bought one of Alan's Books called The Way of Zen. In the Way of Zen Alan Simplifies the meaning of Buddhism while appropriately tackling and dealing with the problems that we all face in a way that is remarkably straightforward. I would recommend spending time - learning from his lectures which have been made available to you on youtube, also I would recommend visiting the official Alan Watts website here: https://AlanWatts.org.
It is very important to invest in one's self and along our journey we have many struggles which we all face. Life is suffering - so we push forward and as we meet resistance we can approach it in many ways but the important thing is that we persist, we go on we flow like the Tao. The resistance produces with in us the change that we didn't know we needed and it pushes us along. I have personally listened to 1000's of hours of Alan's Lectures and that isn't an exaggeration if anything it's more in the sense that they are still with me even now - and it is time well spent.
